It was Friday 18th of Sept 2015, the Nesian Fusion Group were doing stage tricks with the Aliao and spinning the Aliao under their legs..


I liked how they mixed up the songs first it was Beau Monga, then it turned into some slow music.

The message was “No to fear”,always have Confidence when you partake in something.
I like how all of them had confident if they dropped the Aliao they picked them up.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    On a hot sunny day We ran on the field And then I got knocked over  but I got back up by then I was about coming last so I sprinted I got tired and started to walk and the  I ran as fast as I could it was muddy but luckily I didn’t get muddy. then I had to run across the reserve and I saw david in front of me and jonathan at the back  jonathan got in front of me and david had already passed the finish line david didn’t come first he came 11th I came 13th and jonathan came 12th in the end we had a drink of water and we watching the other years race  




Last Monday on the 7th of september, we had cross country and we had to wait  then  all of the year 5 boys lined up the, whole school and family members staff the community where watching  
  
We ran around the pt england reserve then we ran through the playground  then we won.

Then we had a drink of water, then we watched the rest of the people run.

Nate's Advice


We have been reading a story about Cathy and her sister. Here is my advice for them. Please read it, it is helpful.

If I had million dollars

If I had a million dollars I would go to the Dick Smith,  food court, snapback shop and Hoyts.

First I would go to Dick Smith and buy a new TV because I need a new flat screen. At the moment I have an ugly bulky one because my sister has my flat screen and doesn’t even use it. When she does she is using her laptop to watch things on youtube. Plus she’s never home anyway and taken my old room!

Then I will go to the food area and get some butter chicken. I would go get KFC if I could I would a lot of chicken. I would get three buckets for $30 which is nothing compared to a million dollars.

Next I would go to buy lots of snapbacks, gold chains and jumpers. It is winter and I only have 5 hats at the moment. Which is so not enough.

Then I will go buy a drone to fly in the sky. I would get a good view of the nice Pt England Beach.

Finally I will go to hoyts and watch a movie with my family. Then I will buy things for my family.

I would have lots of fun. I would take a friend with me and then I would buy a new phone 6.

It is a good way to spend my money for life. Well maybe not the KFC and maybe I should get some groceries.

Holidays Recount

On the first day or the holidays It was my birthday I turned Ten years old the most of my family was there My mums dad was there that she hadn't seen forever we all had fun the whole family was together that's what made me happy was that we were all together And I got everything I wanted it was so fun.

At the end of the holidays I got to see my Best friend He had lots of holes in his wall he Hammered a basketball hoop to his wall and throw paper ball to try get it in hoop We both did the for the Afternoon My mum came to pick me up to go home for the next Day.

Seeds for the Birds

The soft white and night black spotted leopard creeps towards the Prey. His skinny arms carry him along the snowy landscape. He creeps around the quiet place. He is trying to get a baby buffalo but fails and runs away. The heavy baby runs away and the angus mother charges at the frighten leopard flees the unexpected charge.


Today in writing Miss Kyee was teaching us about adjectives. An adjective is a
describing word. Here are my sentences with 6 adjectives in them. Can you spot the adjectives?

Year 6 & 5 camp Recount 2015


When it was Wednesday it was beautiful weather all the way to Friday. Screenshot 2015-03-18 at 10.11.32.png
Kayaking was so fun! I did lots of Kayaking. I went in a double Kayak with Justus one of my friends. I like the ones where you got to go alone. I collided with another kayak. It was a life experience. I loved! It was so much fun. We got to go for a  swim at the end.


My tent buddy was Ngarima he's my best friend.  We were in All Stars. We didn't win but we tried. We came third I think.

We played a mini game called Killzone! At first I was thinking that you just throw water balloons at each other but no it was not that simple. There was a tunnel of doom, a slingshot, war zone and you had to go across the screaming eels with handmade skis. At the end we won but were all tired. We sang our team chant.

On Thursday we cooked some corn fritters. I didn't  like them that much so I give it to Justus. He loved them and he got Johns too! The ingredients were two eggs, some milk, some corn but I don’t know the rest.

On the last day we went to the Mangare pools. There were two pools. The second one was the bombing pool. The bottom ones were the swimming ones. I loved it there!

I wish it was still camp because I loved it. Maybe next time we can have bouncy castles.

Kaitaki Steam


In the Marmite group we reading about Kaitiaki of the Stream. In this story there used to be tuna, trout and clear water in their stream. There used to be Maori cabins along the bank. Here are some things that are important about our stream Oamru Creek.





There are people called the oranges who look after the Omaru creek. The Pt England and Tamaki
creek is what the oranges take care of. The creek is still and it does not move because it's pipes are clogged with lots of trash and mud. On the top of the water it looks oily. We need to start looking after our creek and encourage people to stop throwing rubbish in it.

Pt England Way- Use your WITS

If your use your WITS all your life you will have a very happy life. It will also help you will not get in trouble.

Walk away is what you do when somebody is saying mean words to you. You should move away as far as you can so they can’t see you. When there were two kids and I was on the bottom field they were yelling, swearing and whacking us with moonhoppers when we walked away they stopped doing it.


If somebody is yelling at you just ignore it and walk away. Don’t listen or look at them. justus was causing me then me stop and started to yell at me so I ignore.


Talk about if you talk  to the who is being mean to you then talk to them and there will leave you alone if they follow you then seek help when you seek help they will run away or follow  you then tell the teacher that he or she is being mean to you.  


Seek help. if theres no one near you then say i don't want to fight or if someone is just saying mean words then just ignore it. if they still want to
fight then don’t turn your back because monkeys jump on backs.

My Holiday

like going to the gi pool. I Felt great when we went to  the pool it was fun at the pool.

When we got home we had a big bbq at my best friend.
then my friend went home and I went to  my step dads and played a game called minecraft its a game where you have to try and survive and build you can build lots of thing a house anything there with my friends who Were there. then my best friend came over again and we went in the pool in my backyard and we had lots of fun. and at the start of the holiday I went to masion bay with to cuzsins we had lots of fun and when we came out of the pool we and my cuzzin were running around

Then we went home and I went down stairs with my cuzzins and a friend and we played minecraft and had lots of fun. what I Liked the most was when my cousin came over we went fishing we didn't catch any fish we played tag hide and seek it was so much fun.

John David Nate Exercise Investigation

In room 9 and 10 we have been leaning to do a statistical investigation. first we asked a question. then we worked out the answer and presented it in a graph. lastly we worked about what found out. I hope you enjoyed our investigaion.
